We had so much fun at the Showplace Productions Spring Spectacular in June, hosted at the beautiful Lamplight Equestrian Center! Highlights of the show included Michelle Durpetti and her new mount Kenya showing in the USHJA National Derby along with Ali Qutub and our homebred Cydelle (Popeye K x Felicity). Both horses were fantastic and brave over the beautiful Derby course. Margo Lyons and Guidam’s Grans had an extremely successful show, winning the $1,500 Marshall and Sterling Adult Jumper Classic and showing in the Adult Jumper division. Michelle competed in the Amateur Owner 18-35 division with Kenya as well, winning multiple ribbons. Cydelle and Ali warmed up for the Derby in the Pre-Green Hunter division and Ali also showed Serendipity in the High Pre Green Hunter division. Serendipity also showed with her owner, Liz Hanssler and were reserve champion in the Novice Adult Hunter division and second in the Adult Hunter Classic. The youngest member of our team, Maddie Pogorzelski competed in the Short Stirrup division and had a great time winning their very first blue ribbon on her pony Pumpkin Pie!
