We are located in Hampshire, IL, our full-service barn and trained staff look forward to welcoming you as you begin or continue your experience in the equestrian sport. What ages are the lessons for?
What should I bring for my lesson?
We ask you to wear jeans and a shoe with a heel. If you don’t have a helmet, we will provide a hardhat for you to start out.
If you choose to continue with lessons (which we hope you do!), you will need to purchase a helmet, boots and breeches. You can purchase these items at a place of your choosing, or we recommend Saddler’s Row Tack Shop.
What does each lesson consist of?
Each lesson consists of a riding portion and a grooming/horse care portion. Students will learn to groom the horse, tack up the horse, learn different parts of the horse and overall horse care as well as learning to ride.
How long is a lesson?

Lessons are available 6 days a week, Tuesday through Sunday.
